All in All.....

My birthday has been fairly painless......How could it be tough, when each day I am so blessed by those around me?!?

Random......(& "Happy Birthday" to me).

Ok....this might end up being a rather corny blog post.

But.....today is my 4oth Birthday.

& I'm not sure what to think.

Life here at our house has been so busy!
We have our house on the market! (Yeah-thought we'd never be ready)
***But in all that craziness, I haven't had time to process the fact that I'm 4 decades old***

I was wondering what advise any of you, my bloggy friends, might have for me. Especially if you have blazed this trail (good thing I paid attention-I just wote "trial" instead of "trail!")

My biggest gift is for sure my family.....just wish I had a picture of Dave w/ the kiddos, but this will have to do.

Another Birthday......can't believe he's THREE!!!

I Neglected to Mention This a Few Weeks Ago.......

But a very special someone had a very special day........& is no longer 3. Where has the time gone?

I thought I would just take a minute & tell you some of the reasons I love you!

You are such an interesting mix right now-one minute-mature & seemingly 1/2 way to 21 (insert sobbing sound!)........& the next minute-thrilled to pieces over a new doll! An American Girl doll you have always wanted! (thank-you Grandmother & Grandad!)


The protective way you mother & take care of your sister & brother......

Your creative & immaginative mind! You decided the other day that the playhouse needed a roof-so you built one yourself!

But, mostly, Ana, your Daddy & I love the way you have wholeheartely cared for those less fortunate than you, the way you KNOW that the terrorists NEED JESUS, & that YOU want to go & tell them about Him-Whom to know is life eternal.

You are constantly reminding us of people/situations we need to pray for, & we are humbled every day by your heart of compassion! May you never loose it!

Happy Belated Birthday-to ME!!!

Spent my birthday at home-with my family.
One of the best ways to celebrate, in my opinion!

(But, I am not so sure how I feel about being 39!!!! 39?!!? Is this really possible? I know I don't FEEL like it is!)

P.S. Natty is doing better. His RSV test came back negative, & he has had no fever for over 24 hours! However, he is still on the O2 when sleeping, as his O2 levels are still a bit on the low side. Thanks to all who have been praying!

The SURPRISE!!!!!

2 pm…….Grammie & Ana head to the library for some time together (Ana thinks)

2 pm-4 pm……Mommy puts babies to bed & decorates, arranges party favors, & sets out food.

4 pm……..babies start to wake up & Mommy PRAYS the older one doesn’t choose Friday to figure out how to climb up on the table!!

4:55 pm……the first guests begin to trickle in……giggling & asking all sorts of questions:

“Does Ana know?”

“Where is she?”

“When will she be back?”


The waiting commenced…..

And Grammie did her job well,

since all the girls were pacing the floor while having a giggle fest for over 45 min!!!

The laughter eventually made it’s way to my room,

where the girls could look out the window for the approaching red van.

It turned the corner:

And…….

The screeches of “Quiet!” “Here she comes!” & “Remember to hide in the kitchen!” proceeded me down the stairs!

Then……the long awaited moment!

She opened the door to this!

Pack into less than 48 hours & stir

Result? Exhaustion in the BEST of ways.

Now, the secret is……..Ana is having a SURPRISE birthday party tonight.

She is turning 7 on Saturday, tomorrow!

Which is a whole other topic…….babies growing up.

But. we’ll address that later.

Anyway, she has always wanted a SURPRISE party, & tells all about how she would feel to have all her friends sneak in while she was upstairs!

So, this afternoon, while she is out w/ her Grammie…..

The Dining Room will be decked…..

The Friends will arrive…..

And if all goes well, this 6 (& soon to be 7 year old) will get the SURPRISE of her life!!!!

We did not hear anything today, but the news that we are OUT of PGN should be coming any day.
