"Common Ground": my little corner of the blogosphere where I talk (a lot-wink) about the things that matter most to me: My relationship with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, homeschooling, adoption, homemaking, parenting, "spousing." (yeah, yeah....I know that's not a word.....I made it up-it’s my blog-I can do things like that! Ha!)
Since my life isn’t all that different from yours, hopefully we can find some COMMON GROUND & learn from each other. Please share your thoughts!
Through the Lords’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!

Let's see...what do you want to know about us? We are a family of five......whose kids joined the family through birth & adoption. This blog started when we were adopting for the second time.....but now, it has become journal of our lives together! Sometimes entertaining, sometimes sad, sometimes thought-provoking (at least for me, ha!! ha!!!).
Thanks for joining us on this ride!

Our Family (Nuestra familia)
"An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown
Grandpa Jim sent me this... A praise to send out to the Saints - Jeremiah and Heather Harvey's newest member of the family has arrived! Noah Eugene Harvey was born at 3:45 AM Friday morning in Wichita, KS. He weighed 8 lbs, 7 oz and was 21" long. Baby and mother are doing very well (dad is doing well also), and in fact are already home.
Thank you to all who prayed for a safe delivery AND safe travel to Wichita, as Heather went into labor during the "great Kansas snowstorm" Thursday evening, and they had to navigate about 80 miles of snowy roads to get to Wichita. God is good!
I just wanted to comment on the azalia pictures... what a girl you are! I have never been able to get azalias to re-bloom and here you are. I'm so happy that it is this particular plant that is doing it for you.
Love you; hope to see Nathanial sooner rather than later!
