Do you ever have things you dread doing, but go ahead & do because you know you will love it once you get going?
Every year since Ana was about 2, we have gone to the Colorado Balloon Classic early one morning over Labor Day Weekend.
Early.
I mean, leave the house at 6:15.
WHAT WERE WE THINKING?!?!?
But, as we are sitting on the damp grass, listening to the hustle & bustle of the crowd & the gas fires filling the balloons, & the massive fans blowing air into them as well, a feeling of contentment washes over me every year, & I am so glad we did it, yet again.
How about you?

Kim that looks gorgeous!!! The mountains in the background with all those beautiful balloons looks magnificent.
Loved the slideshow and it looks like you all had a great time. It was definitely worth the horrid early morning!!
There are definitely things I dread doing but they're never as bad once you get started....like housework, ironing etc etc...well maybe they are...LOL!!
Anna
Now I'm jealous! Looks like you had tons of fun. Those kids just get more beautiful everyday.
How pretty!! My parents' town has a hot air balloon over the July 4th weekend. We saw some that went over their house and dh went to the official field. Quite fascinating!!
