It tends to show up mostly at meal-times, but has been known to rear its head other places as well. Sometimes at story time, or even at church! YIKES!!
Symptoms:
1. The inability of said child to keep bottoms on chairs, or pews, or couches……
2. The magnetizing effect of the floor to the feet. (Hence keeping the feet on the floor-instead of dangling from the seat they should be!)
3. The attraction ANY other activity but the one we are engaged in seems to have. (ie. “Wonder how much food Mom’s putting in my bowl? Better get up & check!”)
We have found a solution! The child must not need their seat, if they can’t keep their bottoms in it, right?
(What a great excuse to take a pictue of those adorable toes, too!)

Great if this works for you but when the seat is removed then I have "jack the wanderer" He wont/cant even stay in the same place or room!! ACK
Noelle-I just tell them, they'll have to loose it for the next meal, too. Also, I have to stay right there & remind them to STAY PUT! Ha!
Didn't know it had a name but I definitely have a little jumping bean here too! Creative solution!
Good for you guys! I'm super interested in the church solution!
Have a great weekend!
I am going to have to try that one!
Have a fun weekend.
