& it ain’t me.
Yes, I know I’m the mom, & I probably should be handing out hugs & kisses & cuddles like they were candy…..
But, in reality……I’d be happiest if you don’t touch me!
If we meet & you give me a hug, I’ll probably forgive you! Probably.
Because oneof our kids has really stretched me in this area. (& I have learned it’s not so bad).
Since I took custody of Ruthie in Guatemala City 4 years ago, I have had daily (sometimes moment-by-moment) work in this area of my life.
& really, I needed it.
So…..here is my little cuddle-bunny w/ her big sis-after Ana helped her put together several puzzles earlier this week.
What are some areas you have changed in….areas your kids have helped you become a better person?

Sweet picture! They look so proud of their accomplishments!
Children definitely have a way of stretching you! Addie has taught me that I can function with much less sleep than I previously thought. And by "function" I mean bare minimum. I did get a shower this morning and the girls did get breakfast. But I am seriously considering crawling up on the couch and taking a nap while Addie takes hers and Crista's watching a movie. And its not even 10am yet.
Now, if you'll excuse me...Have a great weekend! :-)
That piece about sometimes just neeing my own 6 inches is so true. I'm particularly not "huggy" with friends - not sure when and how that changed.
Enjoy your weekend!
Cute picture! Isn't it funny how our kids get us to go outside of our comfort zone?
Did you see any of me in my hug post?? I too like 'breathing room' but I too have spent the past 10 years stretching...or in my case shrinking the personal space parameters!! My older one is not a snuggle bunny so it didn't really hit until Julia came along and now we are all better about hugging. Now finding pictures for next week will be reeeaaaallly interesting!

That is very sweet and a lovely photo of the girls.
And love what you've done to your home with the previous post photos of you preparing to sell. Hope it all goes well.
Take care,
Anna
Cute Picture.
I have to say, having children really makes you live outside the box...especially because each one is soooo different. I used to be such a "neat freak" and wouldn't leave the house until all the toys were put away. Evelyn is my walking tornado. I have learned having toys lying around really isn't that bad.
