My kiddos have changed, haven’t they?
These pics of Ana were taken at one week old.

The only pics we have in the hospital make me look like I had been in a fight

(oh, wait, maybe that’s because I had been!!)

So, you don’t get to see them.

Well, if you really want to, come to my house

& ask Ana to show you her baby book……while I’m gone, please!

Ana had horrible jaundice when she came home,

& we had to have her under lights for about 48 hours.

What a busy week it's been!

My friend Amy had her baby tonight,

& I can't wait to show you pics of him either,

but I forgot to take my camera to the hospital!!!!

Do you ever have things you dread doing, but go ahead & do because you know you will love it once you get going?

Every year since Ana was about 2, we have gone to the Colorado Balloon Classic early one morning over Labor Day Weekend.

Early.

I mean, leave the house at 6:15.

WHAT WERE WE THINKING?!?!?



But, as we are sitting on the damp grass, listening to the hustle & bustle of the crowd & the gas fires filling the balloons, & the massive fans blowing air into them as well, a feeling of contentment washes over me every year, & I am so glad we did it, yet again.
