"Common Ground": my little corner of the blogosphere where I talk (a lot-wink) about the things that matter most to me: My relationship with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, homeschooling, adoption, homemaking, parenting, "spousing." (yeah, yeah....I know that's not a word.....I made it up-it’s my blog-I can do things like that! Ha!)
Since my life isn’t all that different from yours, hopefully we can find some COMMON GROUND & learn from each other. Please share your thoughts!

Let's see...what do you want to know about us? We are a family of five......whose kids joined the family through birth & adoption. This blog started when we were adopting for the second time.....but now, it has become journal of our lives together! Sometimes entertaining, sometimes sad, sometimes thought-provoking (at least for me, ha!! ha!!!).
Thanks for joining us on this ride!

Looks real good! You can fake the curtains being longer, ala The Nester. Find a coordinating fabric or fancy trim, and if you really want to make it simple, just safety pin or hand baste it on rather then sew it. That way its temporary, and can be changed later.

Kim it's beautiful and the length is okay. It makes that whole corner more inviting. Looks great for sale!!
P.S. love the new look of your blog. Weathered boards on the side go to nice with the center. I did an overhaul of my blog, also.
I like! I especially like the way the curtains echo the triangle from above, but in a softer version. The bench is terrific.
Good job!
Paula-I forgot about some of the Nester's ideas! I should run over there & look at some of them!
Pam-I'm glad you like the new blog look.
Laurel-I never thought about it echoing the triangle above-but I guess you're right!
What an inviting nook! It just draws the eye in. Great job!
