Supper Out
She filled up her jar! We take each of the younger ones out for supper, to a restaurant of their choosing when they've done enough chores to fill up a marble jar. :)

Yes, it's been a bit wet around here....
This little stream runs behind our house, although it's usually little more than a trickle. There have been times in the past few days it's been more of a raging torrent.

Colorado Springs is on fire again.....
This fire is on our side of town, too, but we are safe, as long as the winds stay in their normal summer pattern. Please pray for our friends just a few miles north of us. (that plume of smoke is rising this morning & I can see it from my bedroom window.)

Almost a month.....
The bedroom has stayed clean. It was so motivating, we tackled another bedroom using the same tactic. Here was the result two nights ago.

One of our children, who shall remain nameless, had ALL their toys taken away. One bookshelf of books remains. Until this child keeps the books & clothes in their possession picked up, I'm keeping the toys-in my room.
