"Common Ground": my little corner of the blogosphere where I talk (a lot-wink) about the things that matter most to me: My relationship with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, homeschooling, adoption, homemaking, parenting, "spousing." (yeah, yeah....I know that's not a word.....I made it up-it’s my blog-I can do things like that! Ha!)

Since my life isn’t all that different from yours, hopefully we can find some COMMON GROUND & learn from each other. Please share your thoughts!

Through the Lords’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!

Random Pics/Thoughts From Our Recent Trip....

(Very random.....since it seems I uploaded them out of order, & I'm too lazy to fix them!!!)

Nat, it seems, is the only child that is un-afraid of heights-like his father!!!
Looking out the window.....of the Gateway Arch. Ana, was at this point BEGGING to return to Terra Firma-where her mother (wisely-wink) had never left!!

At Dollywood, with two of our favorite people-Uncle Wilson & Aunt Betty! We love you guys & are sooo thankful we were able to spend some time together! Thanks for loving on us & our kiddos!

Ok.....back in St. Louis.......dipping toes in the Mississippi River.
Yes, Nat wanted to swim-perhaps inspired by our recent reading of Tom Sawyer? (ha!)

It must of been like 105 outside......I swear Dave & I were both simply thinking,
"How quick can we snap a few pics & head into the airconditioning?"

But, in spite of all that, it was a fun day-& we are all glad we went! (Even though Ana is mostly thankful that she discovered she IS afraid of heights-& will NEVER, so she says now, go up there again!)

Since you rad Tom Sawyer, did you go on up to Hannibal, MO...Home of Mark Twain. One of my favorite places to visit when I'm out there. The other...The Arch. Looks like you guys had fun!

If you're claustrophobic as well, you would've hit the daily double riding in "the egg elevator" (as Chad and I called it) up to the top.

Tina-I love Hannibal, but we haven't been able to squeeze in a trip there yet. Hopefully, I can convince Dave we need to go on one of our treks through Missouri. I haven't been since I was a kid!

Brad-claustophobia is another good reason to stay firmly planted on the ground. I get claustrophobic just thinking about those little capsules!
