"Just wanted to update all of you who have been praying for us the last few days.
Ana did get an appointment w/ the orthopaedic (sp?) dr. today. He is about 90% sure her scaphoid bone is broken, but he said that particular bone is hard to get a good x-ray of-especially right after the injury. So, he had a splint placed on it for two weeks, at which time, we will have another x-ray done, & probably she will be casted for 4-6 weeks at that point.
He confirmed to me that that particular bone is one of the hardest to heal, & that it does need to be casted long enough to make sure it heals correctly.
She is sleeping in her own bed tonight, & is already much more comfortable than last night, which I think is due mostly to the splint.
(heading off to the Dr's this afternoon)
Thanks so much for your prayers, each & every one of you!"

OH POOR BABY GIRL!!!
That sounds like a much worse wrist break than we've ever had around here.
You get all the fun :) (joking of course.)
I will pray for her comfort and peace....
Luv ya and yours...
Andrea
Oh, Andrea-Like you haven't had plenty of "fun" in the last few years?! :)
Continuing to pray for you, friend!
Poor girl! She still has a great smile. My fingers are crossed that she will heal quickly. It's never easy to watch a child suffer. I'm sure it's been painful for her. Best wishes to your family.
Ouch! Load her up on Magnesium! That is what bones need, more then calcium.
