"Common Ground": my little corner of the blogosphere where I talk (a lot-wink) about the things that matter most to me: My relationship with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, homeschooling, adoption, homemaking, parenting, "spousing." (yeah, yeah....I know that's not a word.....I made it up-it’s my blog-I can do things like that! Ha!)
Since my life isn’t all that different from yours, hopefully we can find some COMMON GROUND & learn from each other. Please share your thoughts!
Through the Lords’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!

Let's see...what do you want to know about us? We are a family of five......whose kids joined the family through birth & adoption. This blog started when we were adopting for the second time.....but now, it has become journal of our lives together! Sometimes entertaining, sometimes sad, sometimes thought-provoking (at least for me, ha!! ha!!!).
Thanks for joining us on this ride!

"An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." - Author unknown
This is *mostly* what our family room will look like on a day that we have a showing. This is an actual picture from Tues. night! Hopefully, it will pretty much stay like this to make cleaning for a showing easier.
On a side note-it has been sooooo cold here!! On one of my friend's FB page, she posted that it was warmer in Antartica! (granted, I think it's summer there-but, still!) & we still have no snow! Ridiculous!
Hey Kim, I didn't post on the window but I have an idea for your living room. As I look at the room my eyes are drawn towards the sofa first due to the print and not the fireplace. Not saying there is anything wrong with your sofa, it is just a print will catch your eyes more than a solid. I think if you slipcover your sofa in a monochromatic color to your wall it will blend in more and when buyers come into that room they will be drawn to the fireplace not the sofa ( fireplaces sell)! Hope for a quick sale! Love you, Jenn
Jenn-I wondered about that. We got that couch as a "hand-me-down" when we moved into this house. I have never like the colors-just made do! Hmmm....thinking on your suggestion.
