"Common Ground": my little corner of the blogosphere where I talk (a lot-wink) about the things that matter most to me: My relationship with my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, homeschooling, adoption, homemaking, parenting, "spousing." (yeah, yeah....I know that's not a word.....I made it up-it’s my blog-I can do things like that! Ha!)

Since my life isn’t all that different from yours, hopefully we can find some COMMON GROUND & learn from each other. Please share your thoughts!

Through the Lords’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!

Isn't it amazing how much toilet paper is actually on one of those little rolls?!

I keep telling the kiddos: "Toilet paper is not a toy."

I think they're learning. Well, I think that until I find them playing with the TP again...

Mine just ran down the hall and around the living room with the toilet paper streaming along behond him. He managed to unroll the whole roll while I was in the shower and was playing dutifully with his legos by the time I got out. Yeah, I feel your pain.

very funny. good that you're making the little culprits clean it up. hasn't happened at my house yet. but now that I said that, it will.

My FIL used to tell me to turn the paper around so that they would have to spin it the other way to get it off. It actually worked... for a while.

In other words, yes these things happen here too. But my kids are all older so now we have different messes, but messes just the same.

Hey, at least it did not get stuffed in the toilet, LOL!

We found a great solution that will help us in the future with little ones.
We are extra crunchy around here. I believe in cloth wipes for babies, and the natural extention of that, was to switch to family cloth for us, about a year ago.
Its not at all icky like one would think, and it had no smell.
Soft flannel is wonderful, and there is honestly no extra laundry to do.

Of course,we do keep regular for company ;o)

Paula-I'm glad you'll have regular for me if I ever visit! :)
